Our Instructors

Paul began his martial arts journey at age 6 in karate, earning his first black belt by 13. He progressed through Tae Kwon Do (2nd Dan) and Kai Zen Do (2nd Dan) before founding Star Kickboxing in September 2005. As a professional kickboxer and ABA boxing coach, Paul has trained students from complete beginners all the way to World Champion level, guiding the club to sixteen world titles.

Leigh trained alongside Paul from the early days, earning his black belt in karate (1st Kyu) and advancing through Tae Kwon Do (2nd Dan Instructor) and Kai Zen Do (2nd Dan Instructor). He co-founded Star Kickboxing and holds the rank of 5th Dan. Leigh serves as an ABA boxing coach and brings decades of competition and coaching experience to every session.

Jermaine joined Star Kickboxing in 2013 and quickly rose to 3rd Dan while building an impressive competition record. Known for his explosive energy, he brings competitive fire and technical precision to every class. He instructs Tuesday ABA boxing, Saturday kickboxing, and runs the popular Little Stars sessions for ages 4–6.

Training at Star Kickboxing since 2005, Vaughn specialises in late-evening K1 Kickboxing. His classes focus on the technical elements that set K1 apart — leg kicks, knee strikes, and Dutch-style combination drills. Monday and Wednesday evenings.

Gary has built a thriving satellite location in Bexley, bringing Star Kickboxing's coaching standards to a second venue and expanding training opportunities for students across the region.

Paul's daughter and a third-generation kickboxer, Georgia is a current WKO World Boxing Champion. Proficient in both boxing and kickboxing, she leads the club's very popular Ladies Only classes and brings championship-level insight to every session.
